1. Agreement to terms

By accessing or using join-wedding.com ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, you may not use the Service. These terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and Join Wedding.

2. The service

Join Wedding provides a web-based wedding invitation website where couples publish a guest-ready site with RSVP, schedule, and venue details. Couples pay a one-time fee for a fixed hosting period (currently 12 months). The Service is a digital product delivered online — no physical goods are shipped.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and capable of entering into a binding contract to use the Service. By creating an account, you represent that you meet these requirements.

4. Account responsibilities

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration and to keep it updated. Notify us immediately at [email protected] if you suspect unauthorised access to your account.

5. Your content

You retain full ownership of all text, images, and other content you add to your wedding site. We do not claim any intellectual property rights over your content. By publishing on the Service, you grant us a limited licence to host, store, and deliver your content solely for the purpose of providing the Service. This licence ends when your content is deleted.

We reserve the right to remove content that violates these terms and to suspend or terminate accounts engaged in abusive behaviour.

7. Payments and Merchant of Record

All payments are processed by Creem (Creem Global Ltd), which acts as our Merchant of Record. This means Creem is the legal seller of record for your purchase. Creem handles:

"CREEM" or "Creem Global" may appear on your bank or card statement. We never see or store your full card details — all payment data is handled directly by Creem.

By completing a purchase, you also agree to Creem's Buyer Terms of Service. Our Refund Policy explains when and how refunds are available.

8. Pricing

The current price for Join Wedding is displayed on our homepage and checkout page (currently $59 launch pricing; standard price $69). Prices may change, but any change will not affect purchases already completed. Applicable taxes are calculated and added at checkout by Creem based on your location.

9. Hosting period and data deletion

Your wedding site is hosted for 12 months from the date of purchase. You may purchase early and publish when you are ready. We send email reminders at 30, 14, 7, and 1 days before your access expires. After expiry, all data (site content, RSVP responses) is permanently deleted within 30 days. We strongly recommend exporting your guest list before the hosting period ends.

10. Intellectual property

The Service, including its design, code, branding, and all related materials, is owned by Join Wedding and protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or reverse-engineer any part of the Service without our written consent.

11. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account at any time if you violate these terms or engage in activity that is harmful to the Service or other users. You may close your account at any time by emailing [email protected]. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately. Provisions relating to content ownership, liability, and dispute resolution survive termination.

12. Disclaimer of warranties

The Service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or completely secure.

13. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Join Wedding and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim related to the Service is limited to the amount you paid for your purchase.

14. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Join Wedding and its operators from any claims, losses, or damages (including legal fees) arising from your use of the Service, your content, or your violation of these terms.

15. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via email to customers with active wedding sites. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised terms. We encourage you to review this page periodically.

16. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising from or relating to these terms or the Service shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales. This does not affect your statutory consumer rights under the laws of your country of residence.

17. Severability

If any provision of these terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.
